✥ Personal red flags proshippers may see in each other: A long explanation of my own thoughts regarding the way a lot of proship-aligned people get so defensive against anti rhetoric that they find themselves too afraid to concede when they feel uncomfortable with the behavior of other proshippers, and confessing one of the biggest things that personally makes me distrust someone because of how they interact with their fiction.

✥ Compound factors to judge one by their kinks: An answer to an ask I received that ended up being kind of long and FINALLY gave me an opportunity to plug my boy Dr. Justin Lehmiller, who says that while kinks can be a factor in determining intent, they are NEVER the only factor.

✥ Ships and kinks don't actually reveal how deeply one can enjoy or appreciate a story: A little cluster of thoughts I had about how fantis tend to assume that someone who enjoys a story for kinky/shallow reasons can't also have deeper reasons for enjoying it at the same time.

✥ Shipping is just a game: Me being confused about why people think shipping necessarily has to imply idealization of the relationship and not just... the thrill of a weird story.

I have written more, but there are some things that I question the value of posting here, and are probably not necessary to add to my growing list of evidence that I despise antiship rhetoric and behavior.
